Sunday School & Childcare

Sunday School is for anyone up to the age of 20. It meets at 10:00 a.m. — at the same time as the church service.

Sunday School students are taught about God, Christ Jesus and the spiritual truths found in the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. They learn how these truths can be applied every day, and that these truths form the basis for satisfying and happy lives.

The first lessons include the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Sermon on the Mount, with emphasis on an abiding sense of our Father-Mother God’s love for all.

Students in older classes build on the same foundation, and have opportunities to discuss practical spiritual answers to the challenges in their daily lives.

Through learning the moral and spiritual lessons contained in the Scriptures, students gain consistent appreciation of God as infinite Love — and that they are God’s spiritual expression.
